Happy Halloween!

It was Oscar and Anneke's first Halloween.  I hope it was scary enough for them.  We also had some extra zombies, and mummies, to help us celebrate.

Quinn is really keen to make stuff for Halloween this year, so creepy critters, bats, and bones are part of the menu this year.  He also wants to do the potty trick.  Ghosts, and pumpkin witches are also required.

He's on his bike again

A fun afternoon in the forest.  Erik and I went for a short ride on Tahi and Dipper, just to test how Erik's back would cope on the terrain.  I guess I slowed him down, I haven't been for a ride in the forest since Autumn. ..me a sloth, and exercise being against my religion.  The forest and tracks were fantastic as always, and it did look like this (full credit to Graeme Murray)

Erik had so much fun, that he went for an hour ride with Pete the next day - a lot faster, and demanding.  Yellow Brick, Pondy New, Rollercoaster, and the start of Chinese menu.
His back seems to have recovered from his injury, so I guess it will be a 2 hour ride in the forest next.
