Chestnuts

A quick forage at the park resulted in some walnuts and chestnuts.  A reminder of my Mama, we would go chestnutting together.

Easter Eggs

 It is not as easy as it looks.  Hollows are made in the flour, marshmellow spooned in.

 Yellow food colouring painted on as yolks.

 Boiled eggs with vinegar.  The purple didn't really work, looked grey/brown, so put them in the red, blue, and green leftovers.

 Dipping the marshmellow eggs in melted chocolate was a challenge.  Two forks worked best.

The Summer Garden

 The lavender has a good crop this year, looking forward to drying some.

This blue flower is in the fish pond, I don't know it's name.

Hadgrid adopted us last winter. He enjoys sleeping on Quinn's bed, and the trampoline.

The white thing finds the most uncomfortable place to sleep.

Sunshine loves potato chips.  Just rustle the bag, and she comes running

Jack was determined to sleep in the hammock, and it decided to rain. Luckily he had his gumboots!

 Another fabulous day in the bush, lots of exploring, bike riding, quad bike riding, and walks.

 Of course, we had to have another bomfire, and more marshmellows.
