Scrunchies

Remember them, scrunchies...Gina wanted me to make her some, but she learnt how to do it herself!
It helps to cut the elastic 18cms, not 18 inches!!!

I love the ladybirds!

Boys, bows, arrows

Quinn really enjoys building things.  This weekend we went into the forest and collected some wood for the children to make bows and arrows.  They had fun foraging for the right type of timber, it had to have some bend in it... Arrow material was a little harder to come by, but they found some in the end.  Quinn made a quiver for the arrows out of his sweatshirt!

Very fashionable Quiver!

Oscar's Public Performance

The Hot Lakes Ukulele Festival 2012, from the 8-12 November had a very important person participating - OSCAR!

Oscar has been learning Ukulele this year, and along with his music partner, Phillipa, they performed in the Sunday afternoon at the festival.

We are so proud of you Oscar, and you are a magnificent singer as well as an Ukulele player.  Keep up the good work.

Deck nearing completion

Sunshine and Diva enjoying a cat's life

This end of the deck appears the most popular with cats and humans!

Erik and Oliver have been enjoying the extra hours with Daylight saving, and working on the deck.  The nails still need to punched, the holes filled, all of it to be sanded, then painted, so... the deck is nearly finished!
What it used to look like.
