Waihi and Karangahake Gorge

Erik has had a tough time this week with work.  It's not every day you have to deal with a 11 Trillion Dollar lawsuit. I think he has worked none stop all week. 
It's Easter, so taking a break at Waihi, and seeing what the bike trail is like in Karangahake Gorge, following the old gold train track.  It was about 14kms round trip, and I managed it!  The tunnel is amazing, about 1km long, and in the dark, with minimal lighting. We have got to take the urchins on this track.

Deck progress

Erik has pulled out the dangerous, slippery, falling apart, wooden steps, and we are replacing them with concrete and cobbles.  The deck is getting close to finishing too.  Not sure if we should have 2 projects on the go at once...

New Tai Chi club rooms

It has been a busy time, but the clubrooms are located in Rotorua central city now, and all openings need a dragon.  Erik worked on him all week.  Oscar has named him Bob.
