San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

Kelly Ellsworth (1923 - 2015)
Colour is my thing, and the SFMOMA didn't disappoint. Five floors of colour. I feasted for as long as the urchins allowed, they found the sculptures more interesting.
Gaza, Kelly Ellsworth (1956)
Figures with Sunset, Roy Lictenstein, (1978)
James, Chuck Close, (2002)

Plenty of variety of artists and styles.

The urchins had a few favourites, and had a chance to contemplate various works.

The large sculpture "Sequence" by Richard Serra caught the attention of the urchins.

The urchins had worked up an appetite, and also wanted to try Chipotle, as they had heard of it in the books they read, and TV shows.
The corn chips were nice, the gaucamole was salty, and the chipotle sauce...,  let's just say the Mexican Cantina in Rotorua had more flavour and hotter chipotle.
Finally, finished the day at the Market St mall, which was a little bit bigger than the one in Rotorua
