Hockey Season

 Tighe was picked for the A grade team for JPC intermediate team. 

 The opening Tournament was dress up, and lots of fun.

Trophies and Tighe

Tighe had a fantastic session at Hockey.  He really improved his skills, and also was very generous in sharing his skills with the team.   He would always demonstate what ever the coach asked.

Tighe averaged 2 goals per game.  His defense was also excellent, using his stick in midair to prevent goals.  The Fluffy dragons achieved Runner Up in their division, which is a fantastic achievement, as several of them had not played before.

Tighe received the trophy for Significant contribution.  I am very proud of him.

Last of the hockey

It was raining, and the kids had fun.  Rob, the coach, swapped their positions around, defence became strikers, strikers became defence.  Lots of laughs, and lots of goals.

Quinn's team were awarded Team of the Year in his grade.  Tighe's team won First Equal with Westbrook in his grade.  Proud Mama day.

Hockey is over!

It's been the first year that Tighe and Quinn have played hockey.  Interestingly, Tighe wanted to play, and Quinn decided he "might as well too".
The boys had a great season.  The Lions came Third in the Finals.  First time achievement for the Otonga School at that level.  Tighe impressed with his dribbling skills all season, and was awarded "Significant Contribution" for the Lions team.  He loves scoring Goals.

 Quinn's team managed to achieve A grade status, and they came Third in the Finals.  First time for the Otonga School.  Quinn was also awarded "Significant Contribution" for the Panthers Team.  Hannah, Dom, Quinn, Ethan, and Scott all worked well to score goals for the team.

It was a fun time, and the parents and supporters enjoyed watching the teams grow and develop together.

Broken Hockey Stick

Quinn managed to break his hockey stick in his first season!  Awesome!  They lost the game 5-3, but there was brilliant teamwork happening, and they all enjoyed themselves.
