Oma's 75th

A big party to celebrate Oma Ans 75th birthday.  The children loved the Turkish candyfloss.  The cake was awesome, Lisa made all the muffins/cupcakes.  I got to meet Jacob and Beth.
The party was in an Art Gallery, so Quinn drew pictures all night.  Later in the evening, glow sticks were handed around.  Even the grown ups wanted them.  We had fun.

Excitement, the roof is on!  The courtyard is underway.  The walls, doors and windows have to go in yet, but it is fantastic.

Science in the park

SCION had their annual Science in the park.  The children discovered strawberry DNA, ate frozen bananas, and watched a coke bottle being used as a rocket.  I was interested in the disposable kiwi fruit knife/spoon, that was made from kiwifruit skin and pulp.

The wedding was wonderful, so relaxed, fun and inspirational.  The unplanned entertainment were the teenage girls in their frocks, deciding to go onto Lake Okareka.  Cousin Jason and Jack had other ideas.
