The wonderful thing about sharing your birthday with your child, is that you get to have fabulous parties and cake! Today it was a Superhero party and Tighe's friends turned up just after 10.15am.
I just love how colourful the boys' shoes are. Growing up, I remember boys wore brown or black shoes. Several of the guests forgot to dress up, so they raided the dress up box - Christmas was a favourite. Santa is a Superhero.

Super hero training was very popular, and Tighe won the Shield, but it was a close fought competition with the Frisbee and targets.
Happy Birthday Tighe! You will need to take the helmet off to make your wish, and blow out the candle.
Tighe is facsinated by Marvel comics, especially Captain America, so Tim made the cake based on the Captain America shield.
The boys ran and played outside, created fantasy worlds in their imagination. It was a fun day.

10 boys eat heaps of food. Burgers for lunch, and Tighe's favourite junk food - cheeseballs, popcorn, pizza squares and jellies. The Jellies were so popular, the guests asked if they could take the spares home. Perfect.
Tighe's friends also took home their favourite lantern, and some cake.
Tighe was excited that Nic and Kelly turned up with Lucy and Emmett. Thanks for coming guys. Tighe loves you so much!
Happy 9th birthday Tighe! I hope this year is full of fun and adventures.
