Northland exploring - Kerikeri

Kerikeri Falls
Kerikeri, the fruitbowl of the North.  We have been enjoying mandarins every day.  I think we must have eaten 10kgs by now.  Also, at one of the fruit stalls we picked up a Cherimoya (custard apple), totally delicious, and I am looking forward to them being available at the markets in the future.

Haruru Falls
On the short journey back to Tauranga Bay, two waterfalls needed to be visited.  Just outside of Waitangi, is Haruru Falls.  A small gentle waterfall, and the urchins were more interested in the chickens that inhabited the carpark.
Kerikeri has a historic building, - one of the oldest buildings in NZ, so we checked that out as well, and the urchins were more interested in the ducks.
Kerikeri stone building
Not far away was the Kerikeri falls, so we explored that as well.
Of course, the urchins decided to see if they could get up close (and wet).
