Egyptian Tomb - San Jose Muesum

In the lower floor of the Rosicrucian Eygptian Muesum in San Jose, is a tomb replica.

The tomb replica is based on actual examples at Beni Hasan, Egypt. An important site in Egypt with many tombs from 3,000 - 4,000 years ago.
Inscription on the coffin
The tomb is modeled on the Khnum-hotep tomb (2066 - 1650 BCE). The reproductions were created from photographs and measurments taken during the 1939 Rosicrucian Expedition.
Detail of tomb showing incompete hieroglyphs (tomb was needed before it was finished).
The ceiling of the tomb is painted with the God Nut, and her offspring The Milky Way.
The way out has columns and hieroglyphs.
