Dolphins and Red Bass

Red Bass
The cruise back to the mainland Efate, was relaxing, the breeze was just right.  The water is so blue.
Afternoon tea of watermelon and fresh coconut.

The crew feed the food scraps to the red bass. The fish wait for the boat to leave the island, and then surface when the food is thrown overboard.   These fish are about 75cm long.

The children all enjoyed the cruise, and then we got to see the dolphins.

Anneke and Efate Island
Nguna Island in distance
Tighe and I were at the front of the boat, suddenly a splash to our right.  Dolphins!  We watch a pod of about 7 swim and jump and play in the water.
We yelled Dolphins, and one of the crew also saw them, so they turned the boat around, and we circled closer.
The dolphins hugged the front of the boat.  There was a little one too.  The crew turned the boat around again, and we got another look at the dolphins.
