Quinn took his skim
board over to the opposite bay, and Tighe spent his time building sand castles.

The sand is black / brown like the NZ west coast beaches, the result of the role volcanos play in the islands.
Tighe liked the pontoon opposite the Beach Bar. There is also small market, and the local ladies sell sarongs, summer dresses, and do hair
braiding. I will do some shopping there later. Quinn and Tighe loved this side of Mele Bay. I know we will back over the next few days. The sand is soft, and it's was nice not to wear the reef shoes like on Hideway.
Tighe enjoyed building with bamboo and other timber washed up from Cyclone Pam. A empty beach. Perfect for make believe battles, and building forts.
