Caves - Slovenia

The Planinska jama. Apparently this is quite a major cave, with two rivers converging about 500 metres in. It was closed, so we could only venture in a small way.

This water race lead us to the cave. The early morning mist made the place magical.
We just happened to pass by this and decided to stop to stretch our legs. It's called the Ravbarjev Stolp, and is located halfway between Ljubljana and the coast. It used to be part of a larger castle, and dates back to 1444.

There is a well next to the fortifications, and I found it hard to imagine how they dug the well on top of the cliff.
