Rijeka is a port city in the Northern part of the Adriatic sea. The architecture is Austrian Hapburg era, and everyone is very friendly. There was some confusion about the apartment we had rented for the night, but it all got sorted in the end.

| Punfrit Vege- (chips and things) |
The evening was late, so we were limited by what was open for eating. Fortunately there was a performance at the Ivan Zajc, (Opera and Ballet Theatre, decorated by Gustav Klimt) and the Kings Caffe was open next door.

The waitress suggested Punfrit, which was chips and things mixed together. The chicken one had mushrooms and onions mixed in with the potato fries. The veggie one had cheese sauce, onion, mushroom, paprika zucchini, cabbage and carrot.
